Fundraiser campaign branding for a Chicago-based nonprofit organization.
Project Overview:
I led the design and marketing for After School Matters’ year-end fundraising campaign, aimed at raising funds to support their after-school and summer programs while driving donations. The campaign was executed across direct mail, digital, and social media platforms.
My Role:
I oversaw the campaign’s creative direction, designing the donation landing page, social media assets, direct mail pieces, and overall branding. I also collaborated with the development team to ensure all visuals supported the organization’s messaging, increasing the campaign’s cohesion across channels.
Challenges:
With a tight one-month timeline, I had to ensure the design was iterated quickly while maintaining high-quality visuals that would emotionally resonate with donors. Managing multiple deliverables—ranging from direct mail to digital—required efficient coordination and collaboration across teams.
Results:
The campaign raised over $100,000 and resulted in a 30% increase in donor engagement. The use of emotional storytelling through powerful visuals helped create a compelling, cohesive brand narrative, demonstrating the effectiveness of the campaign’s strategic design approach.
