Technical Illustrations for a clean energy company’s website.

Project Overview:
I created isometric illustrations for Invenergy’s website to simplify and clarify complex technical processes for transmission energy and water desalination, replacing dense text-heavy explanations.

My Role:
I collaborated closely with internal subject-matter experts (engineers) to understand the technical aspects of each process and translated that knowledge into clear, accurate illustrations. My role included both concept development and the final design.

Challenges:
The main challenge was balancing the need for technical accuracy with simplicity to ensure the illustrations were both understandable and visually engaging. Extensive collaboration with engineers ensured each step was depicted correctly.

Results:
The illustrations significantly increased user engagement on the website, resulting in a 30% reduction in bounce rate and a 20% increase in session duration over five months. These improvements highlighted the effectiveness of the visual content in making complex processes more accessible to a broader audience.
